Promotion Overview 

The Smart Energy $1,000 Cashback Promotion ("Promotion") offers eligible customers a cashback payment of $1,000 when they finance the installation of a solar system, battery, or solar and battery package with Humm.  

Eligibility  

To qualify for the cashback, customers must:  

1. Register their interest by clicking the link in the promotional email and completing their details on the landing page. Customers who do not complete this step will not be eligible.
2. Purchase a new solar system, battery, or solar and battery package from Smart Energy. Customers only purchasing additional solar panels for an existing system are not eligible.
3. Sign their contract between 12:00 AM (AEST) on 29 April 2025 and 11:59 PM (AEST) on 15 May 2025.
4. Finance their purchase through Humm and meet Humm’s eligibility criteria.
5. Installations must be completed by 30 June 2025, unless due to circumstances outside of the customer's control.
6. The Promotion cannot be combined with any other discounts, offers, or promotions unless explicitly stated by Smart Energy.

 

Cashback Payment Process

1. After installation is completed, Smart Energy will contact eligible customers to collect bank details for the cashback transfer.
2. The cashback payment will be processed after Smart Energy receives payment from Humm. While this is typically within four weeks of installation, processing times may vary.
3. The cashback will be a Gift card sent to the customer details provided by the customer.  
4. No Cash Alternative - The cashback is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash (unless required by law) or any other product or service.

 

 Limitation of Liability

1. Neither Smart Energy nor Humm is responsible for:
2. Delays or failures in cashback processing due to incorrect details provided by the customer.
3. Delays caused by third parties (e.g., banks, installers) or circumstances beyond their control (e.g., natural disasters, government actions).

 

Privacy & Data Handling

1. By participating in this Promotion, customers consent to Smart Energy and Humm collecting, using, and storing their personal information in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

 

Dispute Resolution

1. Any disputes regarding eligibility or cashback payment must be raised with Smart Energy within 30 days of installation completion. Smart Energy’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion is final.

 

Tax Implications

1. Customers are responsible for any tax implications arising from the cashback payment. Smart Energy recommends seeking independent tax advice if needed.

Changes or Cancellation

1. Smart Energy reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel this Promotion at any time without prior notice if required by law or due to unforeseen circumstances.

Governing Law

1. This Promotion is governed by the laws In your installed states, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
